About Mendoza Wine Camp Tours

Living in Mendoza since 2005 we have been lucky enough to meet some great people and have cultivated wonderful relationships with those involved in making, growing and serving great wine.

We have tried and tested countless winery visits, restaurants and other experiences so that we can offer you only the ones that are truly worth visiting.

Constantly on the look of for hidden gems and new places to visit, we are always thinking about staying one step ahead of the crowds and work hard throughout the year to achieve our aim of curating the most fun, interesting and best value for money wine experiences in Mendoza!

Myfanwy Turner
Myfanwy, of Argentine-Welsh descent, was born in Buenos Aires, grew up in the UK and graduated with a degree in French and Politics from Cardiff University. She caught the wine bug when living in Bordeaux in 2002, and has been working in the wine and service industry ever since.

Myfanwy has spent 8 years working in the wine industry in Mendoza (after originally intending to stay for only three months!). After taking numerous wine and viticulture courses Myfanwy decided to become an International Sommelier after finishing the two year course at the Argentine School of Sommeliers.  She now works as a professor at the school.

Adam Stern

Growing up in Winthrop, Washington and with family from California, wine and skiing have always been a part of Adam's life. Adam, a film major from the University of Colorado, originally came to Mendoza to ski the Andes in 2005.

He got into the wine industry in Mendoza when he started visiting wineries and discovered he had a great nose for Malbec. Adam worked as a wine tour guide for a premier wine agency in Mendoza for three years and won people over with his no-nonsense approach to wine learning and his love of good conversation.

In 2010 Adam decided to take the plunge and combine his entrepreneurial spirit with his simple approach to wine learning, the result; Mendoza Wine Camp!

How we like to travel - Our promise.
We will offer you the best value for money tours you will find in Mendoza

When you come with us you will not have to pay an extra penny in any winery or be disappointed that your tasting only includes a complimentary glass of wine. We include everything in the price. No extra payments.  What’s more, in each winery tour we go beyond the regular tasting and ask for as much reserve and icon wines as possible to be included in each flight!

Using our local knowledge we will provide an experience worthy of your attention.

Our winery choices are meticulously thought-out because we want you to leave with a real understanding of each Mendoza wine region. Wineries are chosen for their great wine, difference in winemaking styles, size and architecture.
We will be on the constant look-out for new places to visit - staying one step ahead of the crowds.

As well as visiting the most famous and prestigious wineries we like to search for the great wines and boutique wineries of tomorrow, then sharing our secrets with you.

An Interactive Experience.

We want you to participate instead of being a passive spectator, which is why each winery experience will focus on a different part of the world of wine – be it tasting with a sommelier, making your own blend of wine or tasting from the tank and barrel.  We will also try and include as much behind-the-scenes action as possible – such as encounters with winery owners or for example participating in the vineyard.
