Is Mendoza Wine Camp for me?

Our programs are for people who enjoy wine and would like to learn more about it. Our tours are designed to be:

  1. 1. Informative
  2. 2. Accessible
  3. 3. Fun

Our clients range from the casually interested to professionals in the wine industry. If you fit anywhere in between then our tours are for you.

But what if I really don't know anything about wine?

You do not have to be an expert. Our aim is to de-mystify wine. We believe wine is to be enjoyed, and the more you know about it, the more you enjoy it.

Small Groups

Our small groups of maximum eight means that we are able to accommodate all levels of wine knowledge.

In most cases you will be accompanied by two hosts; a knowledgeable guide and an expert in the subject you are learning that day. They will be on hand ready to answer any questions you have and give you the personal attention you deserve.

Do you provide accommodation? Or Do I have to stay in accommodation you provide?

No, you do not have to stay in accommodation we provide. We leave it up to you to decide where in Mendoza you want to stay. Each morning we pick you up from your hotel and drop you off at the end of the day, leaving you to explore Mendoza's nightlife, restaurants and cultural activities at your own pace.

What is the best time to visit Mendoza?

Our tours run all year long. Mendoza has four clearly marked seasons and they are all beautiful and breathtaking to see.

November to May is a popular time to come as there is a lot of wine-related activity.

Take a look at the vine cycle at the bottom of the home page to see what's going on throughout the year or contact us with any questions.

Do I have to buy wine?

No, there is no obligation to buy wine in any of the wineries.

What do I need to wear?

We recommend dressing for comfort.

Most of our programs include a visit to the vineyard and going up and down winery stairs. Although there is no strenuous exercise, heels and uncomfortable shoes are best avoided.

We recommend taking a couple of layers of clothing even in summer as winery cellars can get quite cold. The weather can change quickly so a jacket in winter is advisable.

How do you choose your wines for your private tastings?

How do you choose your wineries?

The simple answer is: we choose the very best!

There are many different types of wineries in Mendoza. In all our tours, we strive to pick a mix of different wineries so that you get a real sense of each wine region. In each itinerary we will visit wineries that have different wine making styles, different types of architecture and production size.

Do you arrange flights and transportation to Mendoza?

We arrange internal flights within Argentina and Chile. Please contact us for a quote.

Can you arrange other activities in Mendoza?

We would be more than happy to help you plan other activities, such as horse riding, rafting, skiing or trekking to complement your wine experience. Please contact us with you requests.

Do you cater for special dietary restrictions?

Yes! No problem. All our chefs and the wineries we work with are professionals and very accommodating. Please let us know in advance.

I am a vegetarian, will I have vegetarian option with my lunches?

All the wineries we work with offer very tasty vegetarian options.
